時序進入夏日
旬味之丘的作物們在落花後,開始一個一個冒出果實來。
櫛瓜花連接著小小的果實,可愛得讓人每天都想停下來看兩眼;苦瓜在葉蔭下靜靜生長,陽光灑落時,白得發光;去年收成不佳的百香果,從春天就開始猛烈生長,回過神來,藤蔓竟然已經爬滿了整個花架。綠色的果實像吹氣的氣球一樣,每天都長大一些,我們也每天追在後面看有沒有新冒出的果實可以套袋。
隨著氣溫慢慢變熱,在旬味之丘工作也變得辛苦了一些。但每當看見這些果實在大太陽底下閃閃發光的樣子,又覺得所有的汗水都好值得。

As the season shifts into summer, the crops at Hygge Hill begin to bear fruit one by one after the blossoms fall.
Tiny zucchinis now hang beneath their flowers, so charming that we find ourselves stopping to admire them every day. Bitter melons grow quietly beneath the shade of their leaves, glowing almost white when sunlight touches them. And the passion fruits, which were short in harvest last year, have been growing vigorously since spring. The green fruits swell a little bigger each day like tiny balloons, and we keep checking eagerly for new ones to bag as they appear.
As the weather grows warmer, working at Hygge Hill has become a little more demanding too. But whenever we see these fruits shimmering under the strong summer sun, every drop of sweat feels completely worthwhile.
